We are recruiting to fill the positions below;

Job Title: Accountant

Employment Type: Full Time

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND

Location: Kisumu

Job Field: Finance / Accounting / Audit

Terms of Service: 3 years contract

Remuneration: As per SRC guidelines

Requirements for Appointment

  1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (minus) or its approved equivalent
  2. Possess Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option), Business Administration (Accounting Option) or any other approved equivalent qualification from an institution recognized in Kenya.
  3. A pass in part II of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination or its recognized equivalent qualification will be added advantage
  4. Certificate in Computer applications and be proficient in Word Processors, Spreadsheets, presentation and Database.

Duties and Responsibilities

An officer at this level will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting work of limited scope and under the guidance of a senior officer.

  1. Verifying compiled statistical records for accuracy
  2. Maintenance of stores records and equipment inventory
  3. Preparation of estimates of expenditure on general office services
  4. Safe custody of invoices, receipts and other records
  5. Processing of documents for issue of licenses or certificates under relevant Acts
  6. Verification of vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid down rules and regulations
  7. Data capture, maintenance of primary records such as cashbooks, ledgers, vote book, registers and preparation of simple management reports e.g. interest and expenditure returns etc.
  8. Responsible for the safe custody of government records and assets under him/her
  9. Writing cheques and posting payments and receipt vouchers in the cash books
  10. Balancing and ruling of the cash books on a daily basis
  11. Preparation of expenditure and authority to incur expenditure (AIE) funding returns on quarterly basis.

Job Title: Clerical Officer

Job Title: Medical Specialist 1 (Gynecological Oncologist)

Requirements for Appointment

  1. Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  2. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from an institution
  3. Recognized in Kenya;
  4. Master’s degree in obstetrics and Gynecology;
  5. Fellowship or subspecialty training in Gynecologic Oncology;
  6. Certificate of registration by any of the East African medical boards;
  7. Valid practicing license from Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board; or certificate of good conduct from any of the east African medical boards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Planning and implementation of care in area of specialization within the facility and for the county including specialist oncology outpatient clinics, gynecology ward rounds and specialist oncology theatres and outreach clinics;
  2. Participate in planning and implementation of specific projects and programs preventive and promotive services; related to cancers of the reproductive health;
  3. Provide expert opinion in case management and advice on medical and medical administrative problems;
  4. Teaching supervision and mentorship of interns and other team members within the lanes of specialty;
  5. Manage aspects of care in the gynecology oncology specialist units/clinics;
  6. Participation in quality assurance and improvement of services in gynecological oncology;
  7. Coordinating emergency response and clinical care;
  8. Provision of forensic and medico-legal services;
  9. Developing medical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
  10. Promote research within the specialty;

Requirements for Appointment

  1. A Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or related field from Kenya Medical Training College or recognized institution;
  2. Be a Member of Society of Radiographers Kenya (SORK), Kenya and Radiation Protection Board (RH).

Duties and responsibilities will include:-

  1. Conducting a daily function check of all Radiology Machines;
  2. Conducting effective radiology procedures (i.e. X-Ray, MRI, CT Scan, Bone Dexa and Mammograms) within the approved policies and procedures;
  3. Ensuring safety for the patients and the machine through adequate preparation of patients;
  4. Liaising with doctors and other medical staff to clarify ambiguous radiology requests to prevent service anomalies;
  5. Ensuring that all the Radiation safety measures are put in place to protect the patient staff and the public;
  6. Reviewing Patient Reports to ensure that they are accurate before sign off;
  7. Documenting and reporting all the faults on the machines to recommended authorities and perform any other duties within the professional circuit as may be assigned from time to time.

Duties and Responsibilities –

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

  1. Receiving and documenting patients at hospital reception;
  2. Registering and booking appointment for patients to clinics and consultants;
  3. Storing and retrieving medical records documents;
  4. Preparing clinics, editing of patient case records and gathering from different sources;
  5. Storing and retrieving medical records;
  6. Balancing daily bed returns;
  7. Creating and maintaining master index and updating patient master index;
  8. Directing patients to relevant clinics;
  9. Scheduling of patients to the consultants and specialty clinics;
  10. Assigning codes to disease and surgical procedures in medicine; and
  11. Preparing health records and reports.
