UNISA is an Open Distance Learning (ODL) university which allows students to pursue their studies by using online resources and study materials provided by UNISA themself. They offer many certificates, degrees and diplomas at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels.

If you’ve reached the end of your academic journey with UNISA, congratulations! Now the next step is receiving your official statements and graduation certificate to prove that you’ve completed your qualification.

UNISA has recently released the venues which you can visit to collect your certificates.

The university has stated that certificates will be available for collection from Monday 24 May 2021.

Students will be informed via SMS of the date, time and venue where they can collect their certificate. They will be required to present their identification documents/passports. Unisa has stated that there is no need for students to make appointments to collect their documents.

Students Can Collect Their Certificates At The Following Venues:

  • Muckleneuk Campus, Pretoria: You will receive an SMS with the collection dates 
  • Mbombela: 3 – 5 June 2021
  • Polokwane: 3 – 5 June 2021 
  • Bloemfontein: 3 – 5 June 2021
  • East London: 24 – 26 June 2021
  • Cape Town: 23 – 26 June 2021 
  • Durban: 8 – 12 June 2021 

Due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the graduation ceremony at UNISA will be held virtually at the end of July 2021 and students should expect communications regarding this via SMS and the Graduation website.
