Kenyan Passport Visa Free Countries

According to the current rules, the citizens of Kenya can travel to many countries and territories. Previously there were many Kenyan citizens who wanted to travel around the world, but sadly they were not granted any visas.

As per the new rules, after the agreement between the Kenyan government and the government of other countries, Kenyan people can now travel visa-free to some countries and it won’t be considered illegal. Kenyan citizens have got access to 30 countries and they will be granted a visa on arrival, the other 35 countries are visa-free. Nowadays e-visas are also available, which serves the same as normal visas. The Kenyan visitors have to pay a certain amount of fees and have to fulfill certain criteria after which they will be allowed to enter.

1. Antigua and Barbuda: A state which is lying between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, and has got two islands which are Antigua and Barbuda. The Kenyans can enter visa-free in this state, with the maximum time limit for which they can stay is 30 days.

2. Barbados: This is also a Caribbean country that provides visa-free entry to Kenyan’s, and the maximum time period for which they can stay is 180 days.

3. Bahamas: Bahamas also welcomes visa free entry to visitors, and the visitors allowed to stay for 90 days.

4. Botswana: Situated in South Africa, visa free entry is allowed for the Kenyans and they can stay there for a period of 90days.

5. Burundi: Allows visa free entry to visitors and maximum time period for which they can stay is 90 days.

6. Benin: Visa free entry is applicable to the visitors and the maximum time period for which they can stay is 3 months.

7. Dominica: Is a visa-free country for Kenyan passport holders the nationals are granted visa-free entry and the maximum time period for which they can stay is 21 days.

8. Ethiopia: Situated in East Africa the nationals are allowed to enter without a visa and they can stay till one (1) year.

9. Fiji: Fiji provides visa free entry to the Kenyans and they can stay for 120 days.

10. Gambia: This country is situated in West Africa, the Kenyan nationals are allowed visa free entry and the period for which they can stay is 90days.

11. Ghana: Visa free entry is allowed, and maximum stay period is 90 days.

12. Grenada: No visas are required for Kenyan tourists and they can stay up to 90 days.

13. Haiti: Haiti is a Caribbean country and Kenyans are allowed to enter visa-free and the maximum time for which they are allowed to stay is 90 days.

14. Indonesia: Visa free entry is permitted, but the visitors are allowed to stay for a short period of time.

15. Jamaica: Kenyans are allowed to enter visa free in this country.

16. Kiribati: No Visas required for the visitors and the maximum number of days for which they can stay is 30.

17. Lesotho: This country is situated in South Africa the nationals can travel here visa-free, but visitors are not allowed to stay more than 3 months.

18. Malawi: This country is situated in East Africa, the Kenyans are allowed without visas and they can stay for 3 months.

19. Malaysia: Kenyan citizens gets visa free entry, and can stay up to 30 days.

20. Mauritius: It is a visa free country for the Kenyans and maximum period they can stay is 3 months.

21. Micronesia Islands: Located in Oceania visa-free entry is allowed to Kenyan citizens, and the maximum time period for which they can stay is 30 months.

36. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: Visa is not required and visitors are allowed to stay for one month.

Countries Which Offer Visa On Arrival To Kenyans

1. Bolivia: Here all the visitors have to get their visas as soon as they reach Bolivia, they can stay here for 3 months.

2. Burkina Faso: West African country that gives permission to nationals who don’t have normal visas but they have to obtain their visas once they have arrived.

3. Cambodia: Cambodia is in Asia, visas are given to the Kenyan citizens only after their arrival.

4. Cape Verde: Is a West African country, all the visitors have to obtain their visa on arriving.

5. Comoros: VISA is required if you are travelling here, in case you don’t have visa you can obtain once you arrive.

6. Democratic Republic of Congo: Visa on arrival is available for the Kenyans.

7. Guinea- Bissau: Kenyans are given visa on arrival and they can stay for 3 months (90days).

8. Iran: Visa on arrival for the visitors and they can stay up to 30 days.

9. Laos: Situated in the Asian continent visa on arrival facilities are given to Kenyans and the time period for which they can stay is 30days.

10. Madagascar: Situated in the African continent and is one of the visa-free countries for Kenyan passport holders and the maximum days for which they can stay is 3 months.

11. Maldives: Located in Asia, Visas are offered to Kenyan once they arrive.

12. Mali: Visas on arrival to Kenyan Citizens.

13. Mauritania: Is located in the West Africa, the visas are obtained by the nationals once they have arrived.

14. Nepal: Visa free entry to the Kenyans and they have to obtain their visas on arrival.

15. Nigeria: A West African country which allows visa free entry to national, but they have to obtain visas once they arrive.

1. Northern Cyprus: Visa is not required for the visitors.

2. Palestine: Visa is not required by the visitors coming to this country, however, they are not allowed to visit Gaza Strip by sea.

3. South Ossetia: No requirement of Visa for the visitors but if you are entering this country with multiple people you need to notify three days before.

4. Transnistria: Visa is not required by the visitors but registration needs to be done after 24 hours.

1. Hong Kong: Visa is not required for the visitors and the maximum time period for which they can stay is 90 days.

2. Cook Islands: Visitors are allowed to enter without visas and they are allowed to stay for a maximum of 31 days.

3. Niue: Visa are not required for the visitors and maximum time period for which they can stay is 30 days.

4. British Virgin Islands: Visa not required by the visitors.

5. Cayman Islands: Visa not required by the visitors.

6. Montserrat: Visa is not required.

7. Pitcaim Islands: Visa-free entry and visitors can stay for a maximum of 14 days and landing fees is 35 USD and 5 USD if you are not going ashore.
