The closing date for late applications at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology has been extended until 26 March.

Late applications are open for programmes which have spaces open.

The University announced the extension by saying:

The late application closing date has been extended from, 17 March 2021 until Friday, 26 March 2021.

CPUT is said to have experienced a lot of down-time as a result of load shedding and this has created significant disruption to operational activities.

If you haven’t applied to study yet, CPUT could be your answer as they have opened their late applications.

CPUT has provided a list of these which can be found on the CPUT website here.

This list will be changed as registration continues and spaces are being filled up.

Some programmes are phased out qualification. Applications are then only allowed for students who have taken a gap year in their studies.

If you are a first-year and your application was declined, you can contact CACH via a standard SMS by sending/texting your full name (First Name and Surname) and ID number to 31629 or sign-up online at cach.dhet.gov.za.
