Free Youth Training program is a broad term encompassing free job training programs for young people, or it could refer to free after-school or summer programs that provide educational opportunities for young people.

These training programs are usually pioneered by some international organizations that offer training and education opportunities for young people in developing countries, such as the United Nations, the World Bank, and the African Development Bank.

There are tons of organizations that offer free youth training programs in Kenya specifically, an example is the Kenyan government which offers a number of programs through its National Youth Service (NYS) and National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). Free Youth Training Programs In Kenya

1. Youth Power For Global Impact

2. The USAID Youth In Development Programme

3. The Aga Khan Foundation’s YAST Program

5. The Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works Program

6. YESO Program

The World Bank’s Youth Employment and Social Support Operation, also known as the YESO program, focuses on providing young people with the skills and resources they need to start their own businesses or find employment. The program operates in several states in Kenya, including Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kiambu. It provides training in entrepreneurship, financial management, and digital skills, as well as help with job placement.

7. S4YE Program

The International Labour Organization’s Skills for Youth Employment Program, or the S4YE program, has been working in Kenya since 2016 to help young people access quality education and training opportunities. The program is active in nine counties in Kenya, including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Kwale.

The S4YE program works with both public and private sector partners to provide training in a variety of industries, including agriculture, construction, and hospitality. The program also provides business development support and links participants to job opportunities.
