Job Title: Senior Credit Coordinator – M/F

Roles and Responsibilities
Mission:

  • Supervision of the Credit Coordinators in their daily tasks and replace Head of Account Receivable during his absent.

Description and Expected Outcome/Performance Indicators:

  • Master and Implement National and International maritime regulation. Ensure that Offshore personnel comply with all BOURBON’s and Client’s requirements and standards. Ensure crew on board meet the vessel matrix requirement as determined by the Operations Manager

Technical Competence:

  • Ensure the payment allocations are duly done and the documentation duly archived;
  • Liaise with relevant Credit Officers and Contract Managers on specific issues
  • Report on recurrent issues with clients to Head of Account Receivable
  • Supervise daily the Credit coordinators
  • Manage tax codes in Oracle AR and ensure the good allocations of tax deductions
  • Work alongside BINL tax officer on reconciliations of accounts and management of tax receipts
  • Training of Credit Officers and other credit coordinator on (follow-up of outstanding, control of invoicing, reporting creation)Monthly reconciliation of 10% Retention applied to all Mobil Contractors invoices for both BINL and contracting entities
  • Preparation and Monitoring of all Balance Sheet accounts and all adjustments made on Oracle AR thereby maintaining the required standard
  • Ensure a reliable Financial information with a proper use of the Chart of Account / New coding
  • Turnover is correctly posted and reported;
  • Relieve the Credit Coordinators and Head of Account receivable while on Vacation

Operational Competence:

  • All the payments allocated timely (within 24h after payment and payment advise is received);
  • All the payment duly allocated as per payment advise and after confirm that all the deductions are duly done;
  • Escalate to Head of AR all the irregularities;
  • Ensure all the documentation related with payments are duly uploaded on oracle and properly archived on the folders;
  • Ensure good communication and interactions with contract managers
  • Follow-up and implement the actions agreed with Head of AR;
  • Monitor the daily work routine of credit team and credit back charge team;
  • Ensure all the invoices and its supporting documents are uploaded in oracle;
  • Monitor the invoicing monthly submission and ensure is done as per company’s deadlines/procedures;
  • Review and prepare the reports as per company procedures; ensure the deadline is respected.
  • Follow-up with the contract manager in order to solve any issue related with retention payment;
  • Provide a monthly report to Head of AR and contract manager with the retentions in outstanding.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related Financial Management Degree.
  • Must Possess either ICAN/ACCA professional Certificate.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, local and global Management Accounting Trends will be an added advantage.
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in a function related field will be an asset.
  • Must possess a good multitasking ability and Accounting skills.

  • The Second Engineer is directly responsible and accountable to the Chief Engineer, but with due consideration for the master’s overall command, from whom the Second Engineer also has a duty to comply with any legal orders and instructions.

Technical Competence:

  • Has whatever authority the Chief Engineer delegates upon him/her with regard to the technical department’s on-board, subordinates engineering officers and ratings assigned to work therein.
  • Shall support the Chief Engineer by carrying out any legal orders and / or instructions issued by the Chief Engineer when such orders and / or instructions are sound and within the accepted practices of good seamanship.
  • Shall apply, follow and encourage Company policy and procedures in the performance of all tasks, with special emphasis on the protection of the environment and pollution prevention.

  • Shall supervise and assist the Boatswain with the preparation readiness of the vessel’s Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) and any other similar ship’s craft.
  • Ensure that all work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner at all times, with care to allow crew members sufficient time for rest periods in accordance with the STCW 95 Convention (Including the Manila Amendments) guidelines, for maintenance and for other essential tasks.

Operational Competence:

  • The Chief Mate is accountable to the master for:
    • Stand watch.
    • Supervise deck operation according to the Master’s orders.
    • Maintenance and correction of nautical charts and documentation.
    • Anchoring point monitoring
    • Maintenance of the DP system and DP log book
    • Maintenance and check of the GMDSS equipment, log book

Job Title: Master – TUG (M/F)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Master has the overriding authority and responsibility for making decisions and taking all necessary actions regarding safety, pollution prevention and the efficient operation of the vessel and to request the company’s assistance that may be necessary.

Technical Competencies:

  • Familiarize him/herself with all sections and parts of the company (QSMS) and all company policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Implement and maintain the company’s policies and procedures and instructions.
  • Motivate the crew to observe the company policies, procedures and instructions by demonstrating knowledge of, and a positive attitude to the company QSMS.
  • Issue appropriate written or verbal orders and instructions in a clear and simple manner.
  • Verify that all specific requirements of the company policies and procedures are observed.
  • Complete the annual “Master’s Review” in accordance with the requirements of the QSMS.
  • Propose improvements to the QSMS in order to improve the quality and safety of Bourbon Interoil services to its customers.
  • Report non-conformances, hazardous situations, defects and other undesirable events, determine the causes of same, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Understand that raising non-conformances also involves responsibility for corrective actions, and shall prepare a written report of the result in accordance with established company procedures.
  • Ensure that the vessel and crew are prepared for any emergency situation at all times.
  • Ensure that all emergency drills, safety meetings and other QSMS requirements, including but not limited to, Pre-Task Planning, Checklist use and PPE use are carried out in a correct, timely and thorough manner according to QSMS procedures.
  • Maintain in good order all shipboard files, certificates and records, including the documentation and reporting of all applicable information in the company and vessel logbooks.

Operational Competence:
The Master shall keep himself updated on:

  • Laws and regulations issued by competent authorities and/or governments by keeping a library list of all relevant IMO publications and check Flag State web-sites monthly if new regulations apply and if able.
  • Recommendations from Classifications Society.
  • The Owners instructions and any revisions to the QSMS.

The Master shall maintain the following:

  • Ship’s certificates and classification documents
  • Recommendations and reports issued by the Flag States, the Classification Society of the corresponding Port State authority.
  • The original certificates shall be filed onboard and a copy shall be maintained at the vessel owning company office and any other locations as deemed appropriate.
  • During his/her tour of duty, the Master should indicate which certificates are, or will become due during the next period using a copy of the vessel’s certificate record.  This shall be forwarded to the vessel owning company office for applicable follow up.

  • Shall maintain the vessel’s medical locker, medical stores, pharmacy and / or all other medical and first aid equipment and stores as applicable and in compliance with company and flag state requirements and regulations.
  • Shall familiarize himself with the applicable details of the vessel’s emergency signals, stations and procedures.
  • Shall supervise and assist the Boatswain with the preparation readiness of the vessel’s Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) and any other similar ship’s craft.
  • Ensure that all work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner at all times, with care to allow crew members sufficient time for rest periods in accordance with the STCW 95 Convention (Including the Manila Amendments) guidelines, for maintenance and for other essential tasks.

Operational Competence:
The Chief Mate is accountable to the master for:

  • Stand watch.
  • Supervise deck operation according to the Master’s orders.
  • Maintenance and correction of nautical charts and documentation.
  • Anchoring point monitoring
  • Maintenance of the DP system and DP log book
  • Maintenance and check of the GMDSS equipment, log book
  • Update crew list and STCW log list

The Chief Mate is accountable to the Master for:

  • Stand watch at anchorage or on deck during operations
  • Perform any other duties that the Chief Mate may assign to him

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
Candidate must possess the following minimum experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) Ancho handling/towing/rig move operation
  • Must possess experience in tanker lifting/berthing
  • Minimum of 6months as Chief mate on PSV DP2 Class
  • Must possess STCW CHIEF MATE II/2 license,
  • Candidate must have DP Unlimited
  • Good understanding of English language,
  • Must be meet all Manilla 2010 STCW certificate requirements
  • Must be able to use Microsoft applications

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Chief Mate is directly responsible and accountable to the Master, and accepts the immediate orders and instructions issued by the Master.

Technical Competencies:

  • Familiarize him/herself with all sections and parts of the company (QSMS) and all company policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Has whatever authority is delegated upon him by the Master.
  • Shall apply, follow and encourage Company policy and procedures in the performance of all tasks.
  • Shall perform and supervise as required, all deck related operations including the loading, stowage, securing and discharge of cargo items, towage and anchor handling equipment in accordance with all safe working practices and with regard to the Chief Officer’s and / or Master’s instructions and orders
  • Shall ensure that Company HSE policies and procedures are rigorously maintained with all deck related activities using all Safety Tools necessary.
  • Shall collate and monitor safety indices being monitored as per Ship Management Plan
  • Shall ensure occupational health and hygiene concerns onboard are identified and addressed
  • Shall assist in Incident Investigation (as applicable to the designated investigation level), follow-up and closure.
  • Shall stand his own watch duties as assigned by the Chief Officer.
