We’ve received numerous requests by aspirants on various platforms yearning for legit information about the University of Fort Hare (UFH) online application form and guidelines for 2023-2024. Many applicants have been asking us questions like;

How To Apply

NOTE: We are processing both online and manual applications. Online Application is free whilst Manual Application is R120 for South African and R500 for International Students respectively. Declaration by Parent/Guardian for Minor Applications must accompany all applications by prospective students under the age of 18.

You can submit your online application by using the Application tool.

Manual

You can submit your completed application forms by hand at any of our admissions Offices in Alice or East London Campuses.

Download and complete the application form. Click here to download the UFH application form.

Scan all your other documents (ID, RESULTS, PROOF OF PAYMENT OR ANY OTHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTS) and make sure you also save these using your name and surname.

Email your documents and completed application form to applications@ufh.ac.za

An SMS will be sent to you informing you of the status of your application thereafter a letter of confirmation.

Current matriculants who qualify based on their Grade 12 mid-term performance, are provisionally admitted pending the submission of their final Matric results and subject to availability of space

Successful applicants will receive SMS and an admission letter, together with a registration guide, which reflects the registration dates and orientation programme.

Tuition: 

  • Non-refundable fee of R120-00 on or before 31st October.
  • Late Applications not accepted.
  • Acceptance of accommodation of R1000-00 before 31st December

Residence:      

  • Non-Refundable fee of R120-00 on or before 31st October.
  • Non-Refundable fee of R250-00 LATE APPLICATION: 01 NOVEMBER – 31st DECEMBER
  • Acceptance of accommodation of R1000-00 before 31st December
