Sierra Leone Armed Forces Recruitment Requirements

These are the mandatory requirements for eligibility.

• Be a citizen of the Republic of Sierra Leone
• Be between 18-30 years of age
• Have passed with at least three (3) credits at the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
• Submit authentic birth certificates or certified affidavits in lieu of birth certificates
• Possess a National Identification Number (NIN) and proof of NIN.
• Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
• Be free from any criminal conviction by the court of law.
• Not be less than 1.68 metres (5 feet 5 inches) and 1.62 metres (5 feet 3
• inches) tall for male and female applicants respectively.

• Strong managerial skills, including motivating, developing, coaching, and leading team
