About NAFDAC

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) was established by Decree No. 15 of 1993 as amended by Decree No. 19 of 1999 and now the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control Act Cap N1 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (LFN) 2004 to regulate and control the manufacture, importation, exportation, distribution, advertisement, sale and use of Food, Drugs, Cosmetics, Medical Devices, Packaged Water, Chemicals and Detergents (collectively known as regulated products). The Agency was officially established in October 1992.

NAFDAC Recruitment Requirements

  • Possession of B.Sc, HND, NCE, OND with the applied position from a recognized institution.
  • Any added certificate either postgraduate or professional certification will be of advantage.
  • NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
  • Applicants must not be above 35 years old.
  • West African School Certificate (WAEC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects.
  • Candidates must have National Examination Council (NECO) with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including the English Language.
