1. International School of Kenya (ISK)

ISK tops the list of the most expensive schools in Kenya. You wouldn’t guess right when given a chance to guess how much parents pay for their children’s education in this facility. The school has slightly more than 940 students who come from more than 60 countries. The school is a private and non-profit center aimed at naturing talent while imparting the best quality of education to its students. It was started as a joint partnership between the Canadian and United States governments.

  • Tuition per year from Kindergarten to grade 12 ranges from Ksh 1,500,000 to Ksh 2,900,000
  • Bus Fees – Ksh 190,000

2. Greensteds International School

As you approach Nakuru town from Naivasha, you pass by a waking town centre with a mixture of picturesque buildings at a far distance and the typical Kenyan shops at the sides of the road. Near the shops is a sign-post written ‘Greensteds International school’ and a green arrow pointing you to the direction of the school.

7. Braeburn Imani International School

12. German School in Kenya

This school is a German-speaking institution situated on Limuru Road, opposite Village Market in Nairobi.

  • Annual fee for class 5-12 is € 11,336.00 (Ksh 1,403,583)
  • Annual fee for class 1-4 is € 9,672.00 (Ksh 1,195,991)

This list has the most expensive schools in Kenya. Even though most of them cannot be said to be expensive 844 schools, they are indeed expensive elite schools in Kenya. They accommodate children of the top class of professionals within Kenya and from the rest of the world. They are centers with good quality education and a great learning environment.
