  • Once on the page, enter your e-learning portal log in credentials, and hit the “Log In” button below.
  • Finally, you are free to access any service you wish to on the portal.

Alternatively, you can search for the “DeKUT Center for Open, Distance and eLearning” on your browser to avoid the lengthy procedure. With this option, you would have skipped the first three steps.

Resetting Your DeKUT Login Password

So, what will happen if you forget your password? Obviously, you will be temporarily locked out of the portal. To reset your password, you may need to follow these steps:

  • Click the green “Lost password?” option below the “Log In” button.
  • You will be redirected to a new window, where you will choose your preferred method of retrieving your password. A learner can recover their password by either their username or email.
  • Regardless of your preferred option, remember to hit the “Search” button to receive instructions on setting your new password.
  • Finally, go back to the “Log In” page and enter your password, followed by your new password to access the portal.

Services Available At The DeKUT Portal

Based on the materials available on the portal, it can cater to most learning operations. In addition to that, an admin regularly shares the latest announcements on the homepage to keep learners updated. Below is a summary of the services to expect on the portal:

  • Web Conference: It is among the most innovative materials on the portal. It contains real-time and recorded lectures. Interestingly, students can access the lectures remotely, making learning easier and stress-free.
  • E-Library: Students can remotely access all scholarly learning materials in this section. Those seeking to access the materials outside the institution can consult the librarian before doing so.
  • E-books and E-Journals: This section allows students to access millions of diverse and quality research materials from reliable and credible sources. This is an effort by the university to reduce the hustle for its students gathering literature materials for their research papers. Some of the sources listed under the section include Hinari, Orare, Springer, Google books, Cambridge University Press, EBSCO, Book Boon, World Bank data, Free book centre, AGORA, and Open Access Database (OAD).
  • Coursewares: This is another essential service available at the DeKUT that facilitates virtual learning. It also contains materials from other established global higher learning institutions.
  • MOOCs: The Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are available to interested learners. Some of the services available here include Coursera, Edx, Alison, Khan Academy, opne2study, and FutureLearn. You can try them to learn more.
  • Online Tutorials: Students can find all the help they need by watching online tutorials from various trusted sources. Some of the sources recommended by the institution include Udemy, Edureka, EdCast, TutorialsPoint, and YouTube Tutorials.

DeKUT Exam Results

The academic staff has been sharing exam results on the portal. All a student needs is to log in to DeKUT student portal to check their results. The process is as follows:

  • Scroll down the “Log In” page.
  • On your left-hand side, under “Navigation,” click the drop-down menu for more options.
  • The first option on the list should be “Exams Results Released.”
  • Once you click it, you will see the available exam results based on course categories.
  • If you do not see your exam results, you can hit the “Course Categories” search box to select your course. Click the “Expand all” option to see the exam results for each semester.
  • Once you click on your course, a new page will appear, directing you to enter login credentials. At the time, some courses may allow one to log in as a guest.

Where Can You Find DeKUT Admission Letters?

Currently, there is no DeKUT admission portal. However, you can apply online or by filling a downloadable online application form. Before applying, you may want to access its website to find all the admission materials. This way, you will know what is required of you.
