The CYCN YouthLeadSDG13 Action Challenge aims to inspire, enable and reward young people to take Climate action to support the most vulnerable people. The challenge runs for a month between 12 August – 12 September, 2021.

With less than 10 years remaining to achieve SDG 13 by 2030, we must work united and ensure that no one is left behind. To achieve a common goal, SDG 13 by 2030, we must work together and #LeaveNoOneBehind. Young people are invited to unite and take action from August 12 to September 12, 2021, during the #YouthLeadSDG13 Action Challenge to win prizes sponsored by The Commonwealth.

Eligibility

  • Young people between the age of 18 – 30 years old from Commonwealth member countries are eligible to participate;
  • To qualify for the Action Challenge, you must take ACTION 1 on the actions page;
  • While taking action, observe all necessary COVID-19 safety protocol as recommended by the WHO and CDC.

How To Apply

  • STEP 1 – Read the Challenge Guidelines (download below) & Sign up to join the Action Challenge on or before 19th August, 2021 (9:00 PM GMT)!
  • STEP 2 – Download and take our Featured Actions (download below) between 12 August – 12 September, 2021.
  • STEP 3 – Submit every action you take between 12 August – 12 September, 2021 via the Actions submission form and stand the chance to win prizes sponsored by the Commonwealth. Note that you will be required to provide proof of action.
