Birmingham–Southern College is one of the most prominent private colleges in Birmingham, Alabama that was established in 1856. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. More than 1300 students from 33 states and 16 foreign countries attend the college.
