SASSA said approved SRD grant applicants will receive SRD grant payments from Wednesday, 27th August, until Saturday, 30 August.
Payments (for clients who are approved for the month of August 2025) will be processed from 27-30 August 2025.
SRD grant beneficiaries are encouraged to complete an SRD Grant Status Check to see if they have been approved for payments in August. SASSA has made it clear that funds will take about 2 to 3 working days to reflect in the grant holder’s bank account after the SASSA SRD payment has been processed.
